Hi Duncan

This is Brian here from choicetalk.2u.co.uk. If you remember, you called me up on Friday last week and we had a chat about all of the stuff 2u have to offer. I have been spending lots of time looking through your site and your affiliate help information. I must admit that I have a high standard when it comes to business and at first I was a little skeptical about your name being plastered across everything.

Since then I have discovered the power that you offer to affiliates in making it so simple to create your own web site and edit it using the 2u links so I must applaud you for this. About 2 weeks ago I paid £200 to sign as an affiliate with another company and since this time I have been given nothing back in return (including a poor website that does not include any e-commerce). I am currently trying to get my money back from then in a bid to develop myself as an affiliate with yourself.

I have been impressed by your input with other affiliates, the help you provide to everybody with marketing and web development, your knowledge of how to exploit this market and the fact that you took the time to call me back when I made an enquiry to you. I know this may sound like a “aint Duncan the greatest person alive” email but truth be known, I think I can make a good amount of money using 2u.

I have a couple of questions before I start putting my orders through.

  • Can I sell cheap calls to home users? If so how much will I get paid for this.
    Yes. This is available on request and is currently only available for affiliates with existing cheap call traffic
  • Do you have any telephone numbers affiliates can use if there are any problems or we need any help?
    Yes, you can call me in normal office hours. Please always check the Affiliate Training Centre first for your answers, but you can reach me on 08707 607 687 ext 32.
  • Do you know anyone who can help me develop my website a little quicker? Hopefully I will have £200 to spend on this if these idiots pay me back.
    It is obviously cheaper to do this yourself. It also means you learn the very valuable skills of search engine optimisation. You can read more about this in the Search Engine Optimisation tutorials.
    If you want a mobile phone website that automatically updates itself every day, then I would suggest the INSTANT AutoPilot software. Using this, you can then easily add other pages to your website (eg for the 2u insurance products etc). If you want someone to manually build a website for you (eg for the insurance, for unlocking etc) then click here.
  • Is there any further really good help you could provide me with. I am very ambitious and I really want to make this work for us both.
    Read EVERYTHING in the Affiliate Training Centre (ATC). It depends on your current level of expertise as to how much info you are going to need. You will find loads of pointers in the ATC.
    Ultimately, having your own site will help you, and if that site is database driven it will save you a LOT of time every month updating the system. For example you can receive nightly updates for the ringtones or mobile phones database. This can then be integrated into your site such that it is hosted and shown on your site, and updated every night, with no further update maintenance needed. You can then focus on the marketing.
    If you cannot locate a web developer to do this database programming for you, we will be able to offer this service to you to build you entire site, more or less at cost price. This might be around £500 to £1,000 for such a site. This is not a quote, but I would be able to give you a closer estimate with your specifications. i would suggest starting with the INSTANT AutoPilot software and then adding your own pages to that.
Again Duncan, thanks for helping me realize that 2u would be a better option that my current provider.

Mobile phone affiliate "After suffering with health problems for 2 years, I decided to work from home, but I couldnt decide what was the best thing to do. My brother came accross information for affiliate websites. He showed me the 2u site, I was very interested in the idea from the start. I decided to go ahead and give it a try. I got a new domain and built the site. The full site was launched in October 2005, I had about 250 visits in the first 2 weeks it was live, and 2 sales. Visits doubled in November and I made more sales. December was a great month with over 2000 visitors and the site made £210 in commisions.

Visitors and sales continued into January and Febuary. I was pleased that within a few months, the site was up and runing with regular visits and sales. I had found a new start to life after suffering with back problems and not being able to go back to work. I can work in my own time at my own pace.
